I Got You
LISTEN!!!!
?Before the world wakes up loud,?before doubt creeps in through the cracks of morning,?I need you to hear this clearly.
I got you.
Not the kind of “I got you”?people say casually,?like a promise scribbled in pencil?ready to be erased by hard days.
No—?
I got you like roots got the earth.?Like gravity got the moon.?Like the ocean got every river?that ever lost its way.
I got you.
When life forgets how to be gentle with you.?When the mirror tries to convince you?that you are less than the miracle I see.?When your shoulders carry storms?you were never meant to carry alone.
Give me half the thunder.
Let me hold the lightning?until your hands remember?what peace feels like again.
Because loving you—?loving you is not a hobby of my heart.?It is its full-time occupation.
I study the language of your silences.?I memorize the geography of your scars.?I learn the rhythm of your breathing?like a song I refuse to forget.
turn around.
You will see me?standing there like a lighthouse?refusing to let your ship disappear into darkness.
I got you?on the days you feel powerful,?and on the nights you feel small.
I got you
in the middle of chaos,
in the middle of healing,
Because loving you?is not about perfection.
It’s about presence.
It’s about choosing you?again?and again?and again
So when life asks you?who stands beside you?when the ground starts shaking—
tell it this:
There is a man?who loves you loud,?who loves you steady,?who loves you like forever is a decision?he’s already made.
And when the world asks why you’re not afraid—
just smile.
Because you know?what I’ve known all along.
I got you.
