I Go a Long Way

I go a long way to find you As on moon rays you alight Shine like a star in indigo night In my silken meadow Like the drop of dew you glow I make my love sparkle for you. I go a long way to adore you As you stroll with glee On silver soaked beach of the sea The waves spread strings of pearl Your ivory feet they curl I make my love adorn you. I go a long way to seek you An angel on my dream trail Face shines with stardust veil Your embrace takes me on a flight My heart spreads wings in delight I make my love fly forever for you. I go a long way to own you In the desolate land I walk lonely You take me to the blooming valley My desire turns into flower for you Our future is tinged by its hue I make my love create spring for you. _______________ April 20, 2023 Written As Cliff Richard Contest : Write A Poem As Someone Else Sponsored by : Matt Caliri

Excellent Subimal placing 2nd in my contest! I loved your use of language, humanizing the unhuman. The originality won the day! Hypnotically worded as well. Sorry it took so long to judge!
