I Get It

Empathic..... Taking on the pain
Of another as though
It bares your name 

Finding relationships
Wearing as you carry
Not only your load ,but theirs and the daily payload(to capacity)

Needing to isolate
to reboot as it were
from continuous energy bombardment and drain

Reaching out to comfort
The grieving
And your own heart literally aches

Dealing with those
Who live to greedily
Prey on others


Feeling emotional
Physical
Psychological pain on the daily

It's like chicken man,it's everywhere ,it's everywhere
Hope you still
Remember that guy


Wanting to help
And given the side eye
for my trouble

Intuitively knowing
What I'd
Just as soon not


Seeing the world
In
Technicolor and surround sound(full volumn) especially hateful words


Resulting in seeing IT
As both 
blessing and curse

Whichever it is
It's mine
I own it


Lock ,stock ,and predators
It's all
I've ever known
