I Found My Peace

Oh! how desperately, I wish the strange sounds
that carry meaning entering through
my cave of drums make sense in my mind.
Through hardships toward stars I made it so far,
unsure whether a curse that haunts me or blessing that guides me.
My spirit guide seems to have been a busy bee walking me through my troubles.
Living on the reserve fuel for a while, the moment it seems to run out,
it refills to that minute levels to keep me going.
After losing hope, in a strange irony I found may be not joy or happiness
but a sense of peace...

We are deceived by the hope that things will change and will be much better but when we learn to let them be, they do not seem to bother much anymore...

I can relate to much here, there can be much peace after feeling all is lost, yet you've been guided through to tell the tale. Beautifully written.

There is much feeling in your write that touches me. Personally, I've learned that content is a powerful word and achievable, unlike fleeting joy and happiness. I truly enjoyed spending time with your verse ... CayCay
