I Forgive You

You silently cry at night when you sleep
When your heart's load is too heavy to keep
The world is cruel, it will always be
But know that you will forever have me.

When you feel guilty of what you can't change
And the consequence is out of your range
Don't be hard on yourself to compensate
The life-long lessons you should celebrate.

If there are times you feel like giving up
Because your inner demons you can't stop
Carry on you're not alone in this fight
God is with you; He is your guiding light.

Though you caused me immeasurable pain
Self I forgive you let us start again.
