I Forgive Me

Forgiveness is a meal that’s
best served in large amounts
No matter the type of dish,
it’s the ingredients that count.
Forgiveness is a meal that
should be eaten with clean hands,
And every mouthful well seasoned
So the bitterness you’ll withstand.
Forgiveness is a meal that
must in small amounts, be ingested
To make room for the hurt and anguish
that’s yet to be digested!
