I Fell In Love With a Clown

I fell in love with a clown
An intelligent clown in a dark black gown
Running away from the circus stage
Hiding away in the tiger cage

I asked him, “do you know me?”
He said, “yes, look at me
Glee”
I asked him, “come home and we shall play video games”
He said, “no beautiful, I have a show coming in my way
A mighty show of trapeze
You will see me rising high and high and appease
My pain and hurt and guilt
And make you laugh at my fall”
The wicked smile filled the empty space
And I see a clown laugh at me

I fell in love with a clown
And intelligent clown in a dark black gown
