I Feel the Touch of Sorrow
I feel the touch of sorrow
while I walk along the shore,
while I watch the seagulls lifting
in the air and flying toward
the crimson sky very low.
Between earth and sky
I never feel lonely,
somewhere there must be someone
to end such a loneliness;
somewhere there must be someone
to reach me and lead me on...
if anyone can fill my emptiness,
I'll be grateful in return.
Between earth and sky
I never feel lonely;
I hear the palm trees
rustling in the breeze...
the creamy, puffy
clouds drift away,
the pale sun lowers slowly.
I feel the touch of sorrow
while the watch ticks
the minutes away so fast;
I feel the touch of sorrow
as I watch amazed
the luminous sunset.
