I Ducked

I ducked I dove I dodged the rain
Here I stand above the pain
I kicked and cried for far to long
Yet it made me wise it made me strong
My life was empty it was dead
With the worthless tears I shed
Now I live now I dance
Here I take my second chance
He gives me hope He gives me life
He helps me through the horrid strife
Christ is real I know he's here
My life is won, my path is clear
Now I learn, now I grow
To break away from the flow
The world will fall and He will rise
He knows our sins, He knows our lies
You will not run, you will not hide
The day He comes back for his bride
For it is written that on that day
The saved will live and the wicked shall pay

A powerful poem my friend -- may we listen to your words, seek his love and grace, and know the incredible love that is given freely to us. Well done.
