I dreamt of you sweet dreams Faceless tall and proud Approaching on your horse In the darkness of the night Visions of your gracefulness Enticing me to follow you And promise my fidelity From here on to eternity I know not your title or your name But I’ll recognize you from my dreams As I wait for you returning in the night I’ll call you Lady Death riding in the dark AP: 2nd place 2021 Submitted on February 16, 2019 for contest I DREAMED A DREAM sponsored by SILENT ONE - RANKED 3RD
