I Don'T Want To Be Invisible Any More

Why can't anybody see
Me standing here so socially
Wanting to join in the fun
Why can't I get anyone
To notice that I am here
Doesn't anybody care
About the way that I feel
Why is it so hard to deal
With the fact I'm here to stay
But it happens every day
I'm left out of everything
My heart is starting to sting
With the rejection it is getting
Will one person just start letting
Me feel like I'm accepted
So I'm not shunned and neglected
I may not drink or do drugs
But don't ignore me cause it tugs
At my heart leaving it broken
I am shy and softly spoken
But can hurt like all of you
Listen to these words so true
Everyone needs to belong
It is simply mean and wrong
treating someone so crappy
They just want to be happy
And feel a sense of pride
Of who they really are inside

Sometimes, it may seem like we're invisible to some people. Chances are, these people who do not accept you are ignorant. You don't need individuals like this in your life.
