I Don'T Need Much

I don’t need too much in life – A book, a bench, a breeze, Some friends and family for support, A bagel and some cheese. Of course, the extras add a lot – The coffee, ice cream, beer, The pension I can live on from A long, fulfilled career. As time goes by, I realize There is less that I desire And very little, therefore, That I actually require.

I am learning that quickly Ilene. This is perfect, if only we could see this earlier in life :)

This is the line that delighted me "A book, a bench, a breeze," - a line I wish I had thought of first.

The lines with desire and acquire are slightly redundant. How about ending with “that I actually acquire”

Well, that's probably a good thing considering the price of gas and how the economy has forced most of us to reduce our use whether we required less or not. :/

Which is good because you can't take anything with you (as billionaires have yet to discover)! Enjoyed! Aloha!

I think as you get older your needs become less, kids always ask me what I want for birthdays etc and I tell them I have everything I need. Tom

So say we all, Ilene. As I tell friends and family, I am no longer materialistic. I have all I need, all I want. I am becoming a minimalist because I can't take this stuff with me. So, if you want it, put your name on it and it's yours when I no longer need this house. Be sure you get a good price for it!
