I Do Indeed Love Thee

i know love doesn't grow on trees
i just seem to not be able
to do the things
i need to
to show you that i do
indeed love you
because i do
i love everything from your lips
( those are very luscious indeed)
down to your wonderful personality
(which makes me laugh)
i don't want to hurt you
so i'm going to try my best
to be loyal to you
and earn your trust
in every way i can
because i want to have
you by my side
each morning when i wake
and every night before i sleep
so i can tell you those three
wonderful words
(that always makes me smile
when YOU say them)
and know that you know its true
that , in fact, i do indeed love thee
