I Died a Little Inside
I Died A Little Inside
I died a little inside
When you passed by me
Without that familiar soft glance
My each tomorrow floundered in tears sea
I stared blank at fading skies
Losing last dashes of sunrays
My breaths palpitated
Guessing I perished from your life's ways
I wrote on my peeled off skin
Song sung with your rhymes
With my torn scraps alone
Shivered to spine in spring's downtime
I tore my treasured notes and letters
With silent screams that couldn't escape
My lacerated zeal on tip of knife
Fallen dreams got your shape
Walking, stumbling with a heavy heart
Every ounce of my soul cried
Shots of desperation injected in my veins
I died today a little inside
