I Cry- Collaboration With Richard Lamoureux For Teamwork Contest

I sit here and cry for all the lost
The victims of our world in conflict
The innocent should not pay the cost

These tears a coming horror predict
Mothers and children are blown away
The victims of a world in conflict

We talk yet we have nothing to say
Not understanding what's going on
Mothers and children are blown away

With blood spilled is the victory won
Survivors haunt ghost towns as they wait
Not understanding what's going on

We cannot leave the outcome to fate
Watching the destruction of the weak
Survivors haunt ghost towns as they wait

Rise from our silence it's time to speak
No longer looking the other way
Watching the destruction of the weak

The helpless do not know what to say
I sit here and cry for all the lost
No longer looking the other way
The innocent should not pay the cost

:) It took some doing! ;) This is Richard's strongest form, not mine, so he had the lion's share! :) Glad you like it, Linda...Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Hugs!

HA HA HA HA HA HA! Ok...Hmmmmmm...I'm lost for an appropriate comment, so I'm going to just say that CHER is Armenian! Did you know that? So was GREGORY PECK! ;) Ok...I don't mind being Cher...I am eccentric...NOT in the way I dress, but I think Richard would make a good Pierce Brosnon! So....yea...I know you mean the teamwork..so OK..Sonny & Cher...I GOT YOU, BABE! Good one, Drake! ;)

I think so too, Mustapha! Thanks...Let's just hope that Shadow thinks so as well, eh? Put in a good word for us, will you!? Smashing...I like that. Yes...Mom had a very difficult life, but she was well loved and I have hope to see her again on resurrection day! God willing and by His grace, of course! Thanks for the visit! :)
