Beautiful. Should it read as: Bud's smile lingers me (5cyllab.), and... Eternity lasts a while (7cyllab.), and keep the 3rd line. All the best.

This takes place most of the time in life. There are times when we are overjoyed and laughter turns to tears. I can see the imagery clearly. Great job! ~Joseph
