I Couldn'T Pull Through

I had an idea
Oh with it what to do
I listened
I listened
I listened
To this and to that
I couldn't pull through
It's you, you are the one who stops me with fear and self doubt
Ridiculing and cruel
But are you in front of me or inside of me
I squint through hazy shades of turmoil
I do
I do
I can't
I want
I can't pull through
I tread but my head is pulled downward with heavy ropes of dark gravity
My wings were cut
Oh what it is to ourselves we say and do
The will to change to see it through
But not meant for today
I just couldn't pull through
