I Could Watch You Breathe Forever

Sitting before you I grasp your hands, and kiss the tears from your face, reassuring you that you aren't weak, because you mean so much more to me, and now, our souls lay together, yours in mine, Just entwined, I pull you close, your face against mine, and I feel your heart beat through your chest, I feel your breath as it cascades my neck, you are Eternity in my arms and in your ear I whisper sweet : "Don't worry it will be just fine, I'm here for you, I'm here tonight, just close your eyes and trust in me, and I'll keep you safe while you dream, you are it for me, my everything." Opening your eyes, you look at me longingly, then you pull me close, so I take my place, for this night we rest in one another's arms, sleeping peacefully; your beauty overwhelms me, you consume my dreams, and tonight I rest beside you, my everything.
