I Could Want Nothing More

I care not to dream, except about you
For when I'm asleep I still want you there.
If you were not here, then what would I do
My dreams would be empty, barren and bare.

My days unfulfilled unless you are near,
So long drags the time when you are away.
For when I'm alone all joy disappears,
Come live with me darling, please come and stay.

Let us build a home, a nest for we two
And there we shall stay in each others arms.
To have you with me, my dreams would come true
A life filled with love, and all of its charms.

Is it not love that a heart searches for,
I love you so, I could want nothing more
