NB. This is a true story that happened many years ago. Not to be repeated, no doubt. But at that time I was (still am up to a point) crazy about European soccer and I wanted to see a Scottish game of Rangers vs Celtic. Rangers wore blue, Celtic green. The envy and rivalry were tremendous., but I had to go. The problem was I did not know which entry I had to choose. As usual, I chose the wrong one. Afterwards, my friend and I ran for safety. We went to the football match, I dressed in green, Everyone laughed, thought I was a poor bean. I was with a crowd all dressed in blue, Good grief, I was in some very hot stew. I stood my ground; Green won. Hooray as I kissed my Celine.

Wow, Victor, and for your team to be the victor too, brave stuff, neither Scottish side is easy when they lose, reputations held, ha ha ha, brilliant Limerick . . . : )

Creative work. Sorry you were on the wrong team in the beginning but at least you ended up on the winning side. What could have been better, well, to have been playing in the game on the winning side. Enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Embarrassing moments occur when we least expect them. Victor, I always enjoy watching European soccer matches, but an old friend advised me that if I needed to wear colors, I should mix and match both teams' colors. I'm glad you arrived safely, and have a wonderful weekend.
