I Care I Search

I care I search.
No answers can I find
to what’s ailing me.
Is it lurking in my mind?

I care I search
to know my body’s cure,
but every path I take
leads to one more detour.

I care I search.
Yes, I search because of cares.
But all I know is I remain
just living on my prayers.

I hope you find the cure for that cancer you are dealing with. Congratulations on your win in my contest.

It's not cancer. It was a side effect of a bone strengthener I was injected with for 2 years AFTER cancer. It destroyed parts of my nervous system and no doctor can find a remedy for it.. I advise everyone to research side effects of really strong drugs they are given. Prolia should be taken off the market. It's even killed people. Thanks for my win, Miranda

Hugs Andrea. I was unaware of your dilemma and will pray for your healing. Good entry for the contest by the way. Good luck.

I feel for you Andrea... ! Each one has his/her share of problems. That's human life. We can overcome every mess through prayers. I do believe it.They may not solve our problems but will surely strengthen our shoulders.

Regarding the middle stanza of this poem, I think sadly, that as the health care system we do have gets more and more commercialized the less truthful answers you will find. I say that because the answers they give are often with greed in the eyes and the desire for gold in the pockets. Okay rant over.

Last two lines of your poem tug the heart, Andrea. Hope the doctors are more helpful than they have been.
