I Can’t Wait

I’m tired of reading articles About Election Day. There’s nothing new that anybody In the world can say. Opinions, mostly set in stone, Are not about to budge And hopefully, November 5th, Our ballots get to judge. I can’t wait ‘til it’s over, Though I’m trying hard to hope That whichever way the wind blows, Those who lose will somehow cope.

This is same thoughts as I've had. It is a vote of the people. May our votes always count. I'll be glad when we can go back to normal.

Well said, Ilene. The loser must accept graciously. Very nicely penned. I hope you get a more genuine winner than we did!
