I Can'T So I Won'T

If I could walk
atop wisps of clouds
wait there until dusk
and grab the first star
that dared to outshine me
I would
but only for you

If I could be the wind
touching you
every minute
of every day
as it whispers
in a way
that tosses
all your fears away
I would
but only for you

If I could
create a masterpiece
with words pressed
against a canvas
that erupt
with the beauty
of a rainbow
just so you could see
what you mean to me
I would 
but only for you
if I could
