I Can'T
You’d think by now I’d be used to this
All the problems you’ll never see
You’d think by now I’d be past all this
Every worry you’ll never have
I can’t believe we’re giving up on this
After we’ve already pulled through so much
I can’t tell you how much it hurts me
To see your face all twisted in pain
It’s hard to make you really see
All the consuming vain
What you see on me is but a mask
A carefully planned disguise
You’ll never truly understand what’s going on inside
I see through jaded eyes and an iced over heart
It’s difficult to decide with you
Between reality and fantasy when both are so confusing
I can’t tell you how much it hurts me
To see your face all twisted in pain
It’s hard to make you really see
All the consuming vain
You will never understand me
Until you’ve stepped into my shoes
But trust me you wouldn’t want to
My world is scary and confusing
But with the help of music and family
Issues quickly disappear
I can’t tell you how much it hurts me
To see your face all twisted in pain
It’s hard to make you really see
All the consuming vain
