I Can Feel Your Pain

I can feel your pain

Oh, I can feel your pain
you try so hard to hide
but I know you feel it inside
Oh, I can feel your pain

I know just how you feel
when darkness fills your soul
When you can't escape your shadow
I know just how you feel

Chorus
I know you, have been beat down
and feel there's nothing left
and I know that, when you came back
you, just wanted to forget
and I know you think it's no good
trying, to make up for the past
and, all that you have done
I know it's hard to say, but
the sun shines after the rain
oh, I can feel your pain.

Oh I know it's hard to breathe
when there's pressure on your lungs
hard to believe that you're so young
I know it's hard to breathe

You feel the world will end
and you'll be left alone
with no-one you can call your own
you feel the world will end

Chorus
I know you, have been beat down
and feel there's nothing left
and I know that, when you came back
you just wanted to forget
and I know you think it's no good
trying, to make up for the past
and, all that you have done
I know it's hard to say, but
the sun shines after the rain
oh, I can feel your pain.

Well, now you're safe and sound
There's no-one, to hurt you
I'm the one you can tell your troubles to
Well, now you're safe and sound

Oh, I can feel your pain
you try so hard to hide
but, I know you feel it deep inside
Oh, I can heal your pain.

Chorus repeat
fade to zero

This could be a good companion piece for my last one. Everyone can use this kind of compassion.

A warm glass of milk on a winter night, John. I dug the subtle changes in the chorus as it moved towards the resolution.

Really nice John. This is definitely a feel good song. Starts out a little sad but ends with a smile. That always nice to find
