I Can Be Me - Maybe
I Can Be Me - Maybe
I know that I can sometimes be
Someone other than just me
But I do however see
That I probably need to be
My own self and no one else
I therefore wish that I could be
Less like you and more like me
Cos then I can be totally free
In charge of my own destiny
To write my own poetry
And to leave yours to when
We next meet and greet
Reading our own poetry
Without my vanity
