Notes About The Poem

A non contest poem. Still trying to find my muse.

I breathe hope

Whether I am happy or in despair,
Hope lingers in my mind everywhere,
Some hopes are too high, some just a daydream,
Some never will have a chance to see the unfulfilled dream.

I breathe hope with each dawn's sun break,
Sunlight illuminates my heart, dark shadows disappear,
Through destinations and paths unknown,
Hope is the only beacon that leads my way.

In times of rage, when nothing makes sense,
When the sleep gets fractured in restless nights,
Hope still glimmers in quiet shining stars,
Moon keeps the promise of my breathing hope.

‘Ignore the noises that promote fear,
Be strong and breathe, things will get better,
It may be stormy now,
But it can’t rain forever.’ -- unknown

I enjoyed reading this wonderful "I breathe hope" write. Sometimes that is all we can do. Just breathe hope until it is over. Please, rethink the contest. Have a blessed day/weekend writing away..................

'It may be stormy now, But it can’t rain forever.’ ... Quite true! Life swings from joy to grief and grief to joy. In this cyclic motion, let us wait for the grief to pass and grab the moments of joy. Only a mind hopeful can do that. Hope sustains and nourishes us. A very inspiring poem, dear Jay Ji.

This is a great theme. What a cool ending quite how well it goes with your poem.
