I wrote this as a nod to the beautiful picture God created in the body of a woman. The process of menstruation, the breaking of the virginal hyman, giving birth, all processes that bring life, and paint a picture of the cross. The shedding of blood to bring eternal life!
When Jesus died, the veil that separated the holy of holies, the dwelling place of God in the temple, was torn from top to bottom. This signified the beginning of grace, that we can now go boldly to the throne of God if we are covered by the blood of Christ(figuratively) which paid our sin debt.
A beautiful picture of this is the tearing of the hyman, which bleeds, when a virgin first has intercourse. Without the removal of which, life cannot be planted in the womb.
Mark 15:37-38 KJV
And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave u up the ghost. [38] And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
John 6:53-54 KJV
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Matthew 26:28-29 KJV
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
