I Ate Lies

Whilst I ate fries, I ate lies. A bargain made, no school for the next day, the bargain. No one told me tomorrow was Saturday. I ate lies heavily hidden under ketchup.

This speaks to my inner child. Kids do things, and don't think- some lies are forced on us. ....very different perspective

I was recently a witness to this in a different setting. An elder relative appeared to be suffering a somewhat painful and sudden death at home, and was resisting his kids desire to have him go to the hospital. They drugged him (legally) in order to get him to agree to go in hopes he could be treated and survive. He died within the week in the hospital. It's not so simple...his doctor and hospital staff thought there might be hope, but his wish not to go was clear. I feel it was a mistake.

One of my biggest pet peeves is to be intentionally lied to. It's easy to get caught-up in a moment and exaggerate a passed memory and say something a little different to saved someone being emotional hurt; but, planning on lying and then doing it, really gets to me. It doesn't even have to be me that's being lied to. Good message to pass along. Many will identify with your message. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I wouldn’t do it but perhaps the parents were making the son tough for the world so he will make good choices. Shrug… xx

I think we've all eaten lies, sometimes making ourselves sick on them. :-) Creative...I liked it. Have a great evening, hugs, Sara
