I Asked, Please

I asked, please be quiet
The noise you make in silence
Hot air with billows blowing
Take a moment to listen

I asked, please be gentle
Your movements are too rough
Anger that is astounding
If only to be still

I asked, please look at this
Something I found exciting
A blindness without darkness
You see what you want

I asked, please understand
Fragile and broken as I am
Trying to put together pieces
For you to break it down

Now I ask please leave me
To find myself again
Together is only nonsense
I need time to form and rebuild
