I Ask You Lord Why ? 2000
Trials and tribulations are coming now more than ever. I'm
experiencing them so rapidly that my mind, body and soul has
frozen in this season of cold weather.
I'm frozen because of questions and challenges I've been through.
Asking my Lord why and what it is he wants me to do. You my Lord
has the power of the world, so why does one have to be raped?
You say thou shall not kill but you give access to the guns.
It's wasn't you who put them in the hands of killers but gave us the ability to make them.
Also in our time we're killing ourselves with drugs.
Why are they here on earth Lord, why is my body filled with slugs?
There are questions running through my inter-self so deep. Like
why it was me shot in 99 that laid me down to sleep.
Thanks to you father I was blessed and woke from the line of fire.
I asked why was I given life again that I so much desire?
You said it wasn't my time, that you needed here in this world.
I thank you father because I was not ready to leave my baby girl.
Why all the hatred from the prejudice cops we see? How come
you don't clear there heads from all thy negativity?
There is just so much pain in my heart to my head.
Once again I took three shots and was later pronounce dead.
In the vision of my eyes I saw your face and felt a spirit
that brought me through.
I ask again Lord why and what is it you want me to do?
Sincerely, Brandon
