I Am You
I can see that you are me
I will be you whatever you do
You can’t lie, I’ll tell you why
I am you, were not just two.
Putting on a mask is no simple task
I have no doubt it’s only a way out
It was a good try though but you’re not so sly
You’ve been reflected, and now you’re rejected.
You stand at my side thinking you can hide
You try to be deceiving, I won’t go on believing
You look in my face; you’re such a disgrace
My visions are clearer; you can’t lie to this mirror.
