I Am What We Are

We are both the fool and the sage In a state of complete calm and total rage We are the entire book and one page Thinking we're free inside a cage We are the darkness and the light The weakest men with the greatest might We are blind but with second sight The blackest black, the whitest white I am the earthworm and the bird I am the unwritten, oft spoken word I am the lost sheep and the whole herd I am the 1st, I am the last, I'm also the third I am turbulent and I am still I am a plateau and I am hill I am destiny and I am free will I can empty and I can fulfill
