I Am Waiting (Jw)

I am waiting On the broken cocoon to fly I am waiting On jolly Jordon's flood to dry I am waiting And the past behind comes pounding Like horses hoofs with fears abounding I am waiting I am waiting For flowers on flagpoles of may I am waiting Subjugated slave for jubilee day I am waiting And trumpets will sound sweet and loud And Yeshua steps out from the cloud I am waiting I am waiting Hoping on my certain faith in you I am waiting Lord, make us true by serving you I am waiting One more river into paradise And only love shall our needs suffice I am waiting I am waiting And I know the strain and fell the pain I am waiting In this desert, for you are my rain I am waiting Through blotches of night and limping dreams The nearer we get the farther it seems I am waiting

Many of us are waiting, David. Sometimes, I feel like I need to take a number. Indeed, the nearer I get to happiness, the farther away it seems to be. And still we wait. Love, Carolyn
