I am the mirror

I am the mirror of truth I am the reflection of accountability That will show the shards of what is, not what's not I will reflect their own darkness back at them So they can feel an ounce of the pain we suffered through To confront the truth of their own inferiority And be trapped in a room full of their own insecurities Instead of oppressing us with their problems They will be trapped in their own hell Tortured by their own hands The same hands used to hurt us The echoes of whips and gunshots deafening A fate that was everlasting If you think this is nasty I couldn't care less My sympathy has its limits Especially when these are the type of people who kill black children Who lie on black mens names and send them to prison Who fake crimes just to hide incest Then later say it was a lie without asking for forgiveness But are still allowed freedom I dont care about their feelings Because what they did to my people They deserve to burn in their evil I will not apologise for how I defend my people And if you disagree with mirrored justice Then you are a problem And no racism hasn't ended And yes it's always about race Because fundamentally our world was built on racism At the expense of black peoples labour Not willingly But through forced enslavement If you deny I hope every night You are haunted by the guilt of your ignorance And everytime you close your eyes You see the faces of the deaths you allowed Because at the end of the day silence is complicity And you are an accessory to murder
