I Am That Girl

I am my mom's miracle child
The girl you didn't expect to live
The girl next-door that wasn't going to be successful
yes
I am that girl
I am the girl fighting with and for her weight to be normal
I am that girl running down her dreams
I am that girl searching for happiness
yes
I am that girl
I am that girl that didn't think she was beautiful
I am that girl you judged because I didn't measure up to your expectations
yes
I am that girl with the black skin and nappy hair
The girl you said is not good enough for your son
yes
I am that girl you never gave a chance
yes
I am that girl…but guess what?
I am that girl that will never give up
yes
I am that GIRL

Beautiful, even with some of the negatives mention there's positives light(s) at the end of the tunnel. Powerful and embraceable. Luv it Be Blessed "there's praise in words and words in praise" ---James Edward Lee Sr.
