I Am Thankful For

I Am Thankful For God above,
for all His blessings and love.
I want to say Thank You,
because I am through and through.
From the start of each new day,
until the sunset with clouds of gray.
From work to play,
I want to say I am thankful as I pray.
There can be times of pain,
but they will not become a drain.
At times it must rain,
so the pretty flowers will bud even in Spain.
