I Am Thankful
I AM THANKFUL
When I remember that somewhere in this sad world
People are starving for food and thirsty for water
I am so thankful that I have enough and some to spare
Then I am made conscious I also have plenty to share
When I know God so graciously gave me a roof overhead
And a family and friends who are dearly loved and love in return
I am thankful and am learning and glad to share such a love
Which comes to my heart from my wonderful Father above
When I know that there is a Savior who truly does cares
And wants all to know a love which never will die
I am ready and thankful to let Him use me today
To show the suffering in this world His gracious way
