I am a singer and a writer I wonder what I will become I hear tears falling down faces I see the inside of one’s souls I want love and desire I am a singer and a writer I pretend everything's O.K. I feel pain I touch the heart of another I worry for us all I cry when others don't I am a singer and a writer I understand the world isnt perfect I say believe in your future I dream of a perfect place I try my best I hope to live forever I am a singer and a writer
