I Am Only Your Fantasy

What world am I in? Oh, that’s right…I don’t exist I am only your fantasy You drill holes where there ought to be hearts You crawl into the crevices while I die Because you will leave when reality is high Turn on your computer And feel your eyes glaze over With your one hand typing… While I paint about what we will never be My very soul a joy kill to your ******** ... Do not push me to release... The blood is already on the canvas

So, I am very busy at work and it is killing my creative spirit, but I can't help that. This work lends itself to a sexual depiction. This is a rather sad story of the male ego. There are many victims of that drive. I hope you only get stronger and better, although I can't imagine you any better than you already are.

The feelings of angst when the one is not given right attention you wanted too. Great expression of your feelings through poem. Great pen.

If words were swords, the person this is aimed at will definitely be sashimi. It's THAT sharp and direct. Hey, i'm not complaining, laura. I adore every bit of it. \m/

What is the distinction between fantasy & reality? What is physical & what only imagination? When does breath take form, when does the blood of love become warm? You seem so determined, and soulful for being a mere fantasy. I love the hostility, pressumption, & paradox in this beautifully dark poem. Its exactly what I need. The last two verses really bring fantasy to life, or life to fantasy.

LAURA!!! This is SO SO profound. Oh, I feel the pain, and I understand. Very well written and expressed. I hope that you can deal with the pain. "You will leave when reality is high." Oh...how true, how true. I'm SO sorry I couldn't call in the other day. My hubby invited his fam over spur of the moment for some barbecue. We thought we'd be finished in time, but I was just TOO tired to call in and sound chipper. You did SO well, my dear. SO proud of you! Caught some of it while in bed! Hugs!
