I Am One of Many

I am one of Many
                                 Who share this human shell.
                                    No one can understand
                                          How different 
                                             We all are.

                                             I am A Host
                                 To a cast of many characters
                                      Fighting for their time-
                                          For the freedom
                                           To live their lives.

                                          I am one of Many
                                   Who knows how precious
                                       Every moment of time
                                           We get to live
                                               Is a gift. 

                                           I am a Host
                              To twelve Altar Personalities
                                  Living on borrowed time
                                     To what I once called
                                               My life. 

                                       I am One of Many
                      Seeking acceptance and understanding,
                                 Dreaming of living my life
                                    Without having to share
                                      This shell of a body. 

                                    I am only one of Many…
                                        How many of us
                                          Can you love?
