I Am Not Defined By Circumstances

I have fought for space in the soil with my fingers and felt failure biting into my flesh and blood and twining into my bones. To survive l had to tear myself from the world and shut my body in broken houses. I have lived in rooms that folds their hands over my eyes as darkness danced to the tune of my suffering. I am lost in a forest that holds only voice, I walk, in search of a voice to bring me home. Down this path some flowers in my heart are painted brown by the dust of life, I can barely see cos darkness planted himself in front of me. But I refuse to be a captive of my environment, So I stood up to face my fears and said the words that made darkness run from light "I Am Not A Product Of My Circumstance, I Am A Product Of My Choice" CONTEST NAME: You Are Not Defined By....
