I Am Not Blind, I Just Cannot Speak
I am not blind; I just cannot speak
The looks, the touch, impress me much
The kisses, the thoughtfulness are as such
That my heart, it seems, becomes weak
I am not blind, I just cannot speak
The tears, they drop like rain from the sky
The pain, it shows through his eyes
But his heart does not allow for it to leak
I am not blind, I just cannot speak
Gestures… it seems come natural
Anger and Frustration…not at all
Interest and Intrigue, week after week
I am not blind, I just cannot speak
Laughter and smiles seem never ending
A future of Happiness is certainly pending
The pleasures of Love seem no longer bleak
I am not blind, I just cannot speak
