I Am Me
I am a frightened child
Calling for my mother
I am a helpless youth
Searching for a friend
I am young and naive
Learning of darkness and hate
I am a lonely teen
Lost in a sea of unknown faces
I am a hopeless romantic
Wishing he loved me too
I am just a high schooler
Making my way in life
