I Am Me

In the network of intricate design, layer on layer, mind is stratified, the strata of all diverse hues align, unique psychic patterns are unified. Many aspects of sole distinction hide within the fold of the mind’s secret layers, can’t be deciphered by the world outside, the reticent sense of self never cares. An insular captive of my making, I‘m me, an individual loner, in my lane I see the aliens walking, I am defined by my essence owner. That’s an entity of me people see, so different from the rest for I’m me. ________________________ September 4, 2021 For Brian Strand Contest A Strand (1073)
