I Am Just I Am

If I can only be like the birds,
   that fly high and free
If I am a ship,
I can sail across the widest sea.
I can reach the sky
   if I were the clouds,
But I am just I am
I can leap, but I can never soar.

If I control people's mind,
then Ican make them all be good.
If I direct their lives,
I would never let them fall to sin,
But they do their own decisions
   they take their own choices
And I am just I am
I don't have the power to steer them my way.

If I am pain,
I would love not to exist.
I would give way to happiness,
But life isn't simply just like that
It is like a game
You win, you lose
And I am just a part of it.
I am just I am
God rules me, controls me
   and He owns me.
