I Am Guilty

I am GUILTY! I let her down, I was with her that day, I made her frown, Baby what can I say... I love you very much, I linger, I love, I long for your touch, I live in the light of your happiness, Which only you can shine for me, The only place I can be me, She gave me joy, we were just so happy, Then I got annoyed, and called her a 'B', I love you very much, I linger, I love, I long for your touch, Then the light of the day was dashed, Your world caved in carelessly, By none other than me... I'm guilty! She was so happy, so kind and carefree, And then angrily, she recoiled from me, She shuns my very touch, Yet I linger, love, and regret so much, A day in the sun in a moment crushed, Now she doesn't shine her light, ...I am going out of my mind, But I am here, always here for her, My love is in tears, and oh how it burns, Heart like mine is crushed, Yet I linger, love, longing for her touch, Where we revel in her happiness, Which only she can provide me, This is the place I want to be, Please don't come undone, I am with you today, So let me be the one, you escape with... okay, For I love you very much, I linger, I love, I long for your touch, I live in the light of your happiness, Which only you can shine for me, The only place I can be me!
