I am fool

Fool am I for trying to believe.
Fool am I for seeing only what I wanted to see.
Fool am I for listening to my heart.
Fool am I for tearing me apart.

Fool am I and fool I’ll always be.
Fool am I for thinking you’d love me.
Fool am I for sinking in your eyes.
Fool am I for believing all the lies.

Fool am I and now a fool I am alone.
Fool am I with broken heart and broken home.
Fool am I for finding solace in the night.
Fool am I for never putting up a fight.

Fool am I for stopping you in your life.
Fool am I for picking up that knife.
Fool am I for not listening to your screams.

Fool am I.
