I Am Empty-Hearted
I Am Empty Hearted
I was once somebody's lover
whose language was romance
but today it's pain
my heart has become empty
I am desolate
I was million-times hurt
I bled
until my heart became a dryland
no waters of love do flow
no rain of joy do my heart knows
I now know one language
two do I know ;
tears and sorrow
I have come to doubt my own self
whether life I deserve
or death I must choose
because I am empty-hearted.
