I Am a Sinner
I'm a sinner Lord.
I need forgiveness, I need deliverance.
Only you Jesus can give this to me.
I fall on my knees,
Praying to thee,
Please take all evil thoughts from me,
Please take away what's tempting me.
I'm Undeserving,
Yet, I pray that you will be gentle to me.
I need you to bestow strength on me,
Wipe any doubt from me.
Let my faith be my fortress against evil
So there arrows will always miss.
I desire to be of service to thee.
In shame of my sins I tried to hide from you. I pray I'm never that fooilish again.
I need to be close to you,
To allow the love that flows through you, flow through me, giving it back to thee.
I want my works to be pleasing to thee,
To always seek thee diligently.
Please take away the pride that delights in defeating me.
I don't want to ever deny you the Glory that is yours my Lord.
I pray you gift me with understanding, wisdom and, open my eyes to all worldly lies.
I'm a sinner, I need forgiveness, I need deliverence.
Only you Jesus can give this to me.
Only you Jesus.
